Paul Stanley cree que Robert Plant, Steve Marriott y Freddie Mercury como los tres mejores cantantes de la historia.

El cantante de Kiss, que cumplió 70 años el pasado enero, compartió una lista de sus cantantes favoritos en sus redes sociales.

En su cuenta oficial de Twitter, Stanley compartió: “¿Los mejores cantantes de todos los tiempos? A ver qué os parecen los 11 que me vienen a la cabeza”. Su lista está compuesta por los siguiente nombres:

Anteriormente, más concretamente en 2019, Stanley ya había hablado sobre Robert Plant y la primera vez que le vio en directo en 1969 diciendo: “Cantaba como si fuera de otro planeta. Llegaba a las notas sin esfuerzo y había muchísima valentía en todo lo que hacían. Me dejó impresionado”.

Kiss se encuentran inversos en su gira de despedida, el tour “End of the Road”, con fechas que tuvieron que ser pospuestas o canceladas a raíz de la pandemia del coronavirus en 2020.

Aunque, en principio, el final del camino para la banda llegaría el 17 de julio de 2021 en Nueva York, ahora parece que nos quedará Kiss, al menos, hasta finales de este año.

En España tenemos mucha suerte de poder volver a ver a Kiss puesto que hay varios países que, por desgracia, se han quedado sin conciertos: Noruega, Lituania, Portugal, Polonia (solo celebrará uno de los programados) y Bulgaria han visto como sus shows de Kiss eran cancelados sin posponerse por culpa del apretado calendario de la banda. Por suerte, en Madrid y Barcelona sí que podremos disfrutar de ellos en las siguientes fechas:

  • 3 de Julio: Rock Fest Barcelona
  • 4 de Julio: Wizink Center, Madrid

Hace ya varios años, la banda y su mánager, Doc McGhee, afirmaron que Kiss podría continuar como si se tratara de una marca, y hasta se planteó la idea de realizar un reality show para buscar a los que serían sus herederos sobre el escenario. Actualmente, junto a los miembros originales, que son Simmons y Stanley, se encuentran Thommy Thayer a la guitarra y Eric Singer a la batería, sustituyendo, a la postre, a Ace Frehley y Peter Criss respectivamente.
